This Privacy Policy explains how Real Estate Equity Builders, LLC (“REEB,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares information through reebusa.com and its sub-sites (including vacants.reebusa.com, funding.reebusa.com, va.reebusa.com and ny.reebusa.com), joinreeb.com, and our phone and text-messaging lines (together, the “Services”).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out a form, call us, text us or email us, we collect what you provide, which may include:
- Your name, phone number, email address and mailing address.
- Property details, such as the property address, condition, occupancy and your asking price or timeline.
- Buying criteria, if you ask to join our buyer list.
- Application information, such as your resume, video and location preferences, if you apply to work with REEB.
- Anything else you include in your messages to us.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites, we and our hosting providers may collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and timestamps. We may use first-party cookies to recognize a returning browser.
Information from other sources. We may obtain property and owner information from public records and commercial real estate data providers.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiry, evaluate your property and prepare an offer.
- To contact you by phone, text message or email about the property, inquiry or application you contacted us about.
- To schedule appointments and property visits, and send reminders.
- To review applications and work with our independent contractors.
- To operate, secure and improve our Services, prevent fraud and comply with the law.
3. Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages (for example, by checking the consent box on one of our forms, or by texting us first), REEB may send you text messages about your property, inquiry or application, including follow-ups, offers you requested and appointment reminders.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every sharing category in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers (such as our phone and messaging carrier) that deliver messages on our behalf.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, telephone, messaging, mailing and CRM providers, who may use it only to provide services to us.
- With REEB team members and independent contractors (such as our Acquisition Assistants) who need it to respond to you.
- With parties to a transaction you choose to pursue with us, such as title companies, closing attorneys and inspectors.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of REEB or others.
- In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of all or part of our business.
- With your consent.
The text-messaging restrictions in Section 3 apply to every category above.
5. Data retention and security
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, including record-keeping and resolving disputes. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop text messages.
- Use the unsubscribe instructions in our emails, or contact us, to stop emails.
- Ask us to stop calling you, and we will add your number to our internal do-not-call list.
- Contact us to ask us to access, correct or delete information you gave us, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements.
7. Children
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last revised.
